About Me!

Hi! I'm Clémentine!

I am a student journalist at Carlmont High School. I am a staff writer for Scot Scoop and a managing editor for the Highlander magazine. I am passionate about covering a variety of topics that bring awareness to pressing issues in our ever-changing society. Reporting on these topics has given me an insight into other people's perspectives and the world around me. Carlmont High School's journalism program has allowed me to delve into subjects I am interested in and share the stories of individuals in my community. During my first year in journalism, I was able to research topics spanning from bee population decline to neurocognitive learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.

Outside of journalism, I participate in volunteering events with the National Charity League and plan activities as the president of the Fashion Sustainability Club. In my free time, you can find me dancing at Heartbeat Dance studio, reading a new book, and spending time with my friends.
